Shasta Bear
1993-2007
Shasta Bear Wilburn, Pomeranian, passed away at
5:37am on Sept. 17th, 2007 at the age of 13 years.
Shasta would have turned 14 years old on the 21st had
she lived.
Shasta Bear Wilburn was born on Sept. 21, 1993 in Las
Vegas, Nevada. We brought her home to Bakersfield while on a 24-hour turn around
bus trip to Vegas. We were going to sneak her onto the bus, but fortunately for
us, my sister, Sherri, was also in Vegas that weekend and so we decided to bring
her home in the car. Good thing too! She was carsick all the way home!
Shasta was the closest thing to having a child between Vanessa
and myself. She was very special.
Shasta brought companionship, entertainment and
loyalty to our home and she will be sorely missed.
God must have a special place in Heaven for dogs, as they have a special place in the hearts of His people.
Shasta - She was the Ruler of the house!
